Vista + Media Center + my tv

I want to eventually connect my pc running Vista Ultimate to my 34" HD widescreen tv. Will the resolution be ok for doing regular things on my tv like surfing the net and general use of the OS? Also, will it automatically fit a widescreen tv? I have never used a pc and tv together, and I kinda like the idea with my wireless keyboard and mouse, wireless internet, to be able to surf the net, listen to music and view my photos downstairs on my tv. So any help with hot I would set this up would be appreciated.

thanks

Wireless mouse keyboard conflict in Vista only!

I have an A4Tech Wireless keyboard Mouse set http://www.a4tech.us/download3.asp?ID=21 is the model.
The wireless receiver plugs in to the ps/2 on the pc. Problem is when the keyboard is on ie key/s pressed the mouse freezes stops working. I plugged in another brand p/s2 type wireless (Labtec) while the pc was still running and it worked ok. And at the same time I put the A4Tech on to a Xp Pro Pc and it was working ok.

So anyone know why this is happening and a way to fix it as you need to use the mouse and keyboard at the same time sometimes.
