Hey all! I have a brand new Dell computer. It came with windows media center. I got the free windows vista upgrade from dell and installed it. Nothing but problems since then. I've actually gotten it to boot now and fixed all those issues.
Now my computer is extreamly slow and bogged down all of a sudden. Not terribly slow but not near as fast as it was. Not only that, every once in a while the cursor will turn to that little circle and everything will freeze up. The only way to get it to stop is to restart the computer. Any ideas??

Well, I just got the Windows Vista Upgrade in the mail the other day...
I heard a lot of good and bad things about Vista and I'm deciding whether to install it or not.
My friend says I should wait, just incase something major needs to be fixed
but I really want to install it.
I was just wondering if there are any specific patches I need to know about and install after Vista is installed.
I have been tryin to upgrade from XP to Vista for the last 2 days and I have tried everything even repairing, but for some reason the computer keeps restarting when it gets to the screen where it looks like it's going to load, and then it restarts...

I want to get Vista, Ive run the "Windows Upgrade Advisor" and it says i am able to "Upgrade" to Vista, But i dont understand the 2 copys that around out, "Full Version" and "Upgrade" - Can i buy an upgrade copy to upgrade from XP? or do i need the Full Version?
