Ok, this problem is not on my computer, but on my mother's...She bought an E-Machine from Walmart, 512 MB RAM, 120GB HDD, Intel Celeron 3.3..Vista came pre-installed on it. She plays alot of games like the ones on pogo.com. She has tons of cds...

Can't play downloaded mp3 files C00D11B1 error

I have Vista Home Premium on a new machine and all is well with the exception that I can't play downloaded mp3 files. there are no problems with the various sample files that were present already, cd's can be ripped and played videos no problem.
I can play the songs on URGE until they are downloaded in library, then I can't. The problem exist regardless of where I purchased them from ie. URGE, Walmart, Yahoo. Sound like inability to validate licence?
Anyway I thought it might be a driver issue as it exist regardless of program. The error is C00D11B1 in WMP
The audio device is SigmaTel HD Audio CODEC.
