ok i got a new laptop:

HP Pavilion dv6247cl
Centrino Duo - 1.73 GHz / 2.0 gigs RAM
110 gigs of hard drive

it had vista home premium originally; with all bunch of free trial programs

i reinstalled vista home premium to vista ultimate; kinda lost some drivers but now its all back
except one thing

my laptop has some "quick play" buttons for "quick time player and dvd player"
those don't work now
and laptop also has a little remote control for vista media center; DVD; quick play;
that also doesn't work

In vista media center (when I installed vista and did not have the requirments for vista), how are all the special effects ran in it, is it from ram or is it a graphic card.
