have an issue with secondary computer, basically keeps freezing when watching videos on the internet such as Youtube.
can anyone help me out with this.
the computer is fairly dated, but is able to run vista as everything else runs fine, and i also ran upgrade advisor before.
AMD 2600 1.9ghz
1.5gb RAM
nvidia 5700 graphics card - couldnt find actual drivers from nvidia site but managed to find them from another source.
2x80gb HD
only minimal programs installed, no used for gaming etc, just basic use.

The problem is, the video plays for a couple minutes then starts slowing down to 1/2 a frame per sec.
The customer support couldn't help me. I didn't have this problem until after Vista premium upgrade, WMP 11 worked fine on XP.
I know its a codec problem but I don't know how to fix it.
Is there a way to uninstall/reinstall WMP 11 for vista? is there a way to uninstall the 3rd party codecs I have?
Does anyone have any other ideas?
