User profile says she's 18? Check her ID
A US appeals court has once again ruled that websites aren't responsible for the stupidity of its users. And as a legal bonus, it has also verified that "your honor, her profile said she was 18" won't get a man off the hook.

I have a new Inspiron 9400 with Windows Vista Business. Beginning yesterday for no apparent reason the machine does not allow me to log-in to my admin account. When I click the icon with my account name I receive the following message: "User Profile...
My account is an administrator of the Vista PC. Every time I try and do something vageuly contentios (like changing settings in Control Panel, or running a new program it hasn't seen before), a warning box pops up. It was you can get rid of this in User Profile controls, and indeed you can. However, if you do this, you get the Red "warning shield" icon in the icon bar popping up to say your account settings are putting your machine at risk!
Aaargh!
Is there any way I can run Vista without having to put up with either of these warnings?
