My new laptop originally came with a trial for the 2007... I uninstalled that, and have been trying to uninstall the program listed as "activation assistant for the 2007 microsoft office suites" under the Add/Remove Programs option in Vista. However...
After I uninstalled two programs using the control panel "uninstall a program" the program deleted but the shortcuts remained. When I tried to delete them its says could not find this item. This is no longer located in C:\Users|Public\Desktop\... I can reinstall the program delete the shortcut first and then do the uninstallation but it is becoming a nuisance when I forget to delete the shortcut first. Anyway to get rid of the short cut besides installing the program again.
I installed a program and now I can not uninstall it. It tells me that the one fiel is corrupt or not valid so uninstall will not continue? HELP PLEASE how can I get this program off? Thanks Cassie
