The mayor of a remote Australian mining town has come under fire after saying that female "ugly ducklings" might benefit from its shortage of women.John Molony told a newspaper last week that "with five blokes to every girl, may I suggest that beauty-disadvantaged women should proceed to Mount Isa".The council has since been swamped with complaints from both men and women.But Mr Molony has refused to apologise for the remarks, saying he was "telling it like it is" in the Queensland town.

Hello all.. Anyone figured how to remove those ugly arrows from desktop shortcuts yet? I miss TweakUI..

I've just upgraded to Vista, and on the whole its very nice, i don't like the fact there is no "up" button on the file explorer but i that's no big deal ^^

However, i really don't like the new start menu, i much prefer the old cascading style menu, is there any way i can change it? (Without using the ugly "Classic Start Menu" option)

What do you guys think of the new system?

And does anyone know WHY they changed it?
