I bought a maxtor 320GB HDD and Windows VIsta ultimate, after installing the Vista, because of lack of proper driver for some of hardwares such as Graphic card (ATi Radeon 9200 si -128MB AGP) and video capture and TV Tuner card (MSI TV@nywhere plus) decided to back to Win XP. During installation of XP i found the computer assigned the HDD as 131GB capacity. i tried to reinstall the Vista but was not possible thus installed the XP and upgraded it to Vista but the capacity of HDD has been increased to 131MB and 174MB has been remained as Unallocated space.
I will be appreciated if you kindly help me to overcome the problem.
I have mercury Tv tuner card conexant cx23880 chipset.while installing the driver it says newer file exits do u want to replace when i give replace it installs and after that windows searches for the drivers and gives an error as device unknown.
Could u please let me what are the compatoble drivers to run the TV tuner in vista ultimate.....

I have an HP laptop with MCE on it.
I hate it (MCE) with all passions possible. I even dropped the nice tv tuner card it came with and bought a new one because I couldn't find drivers/software to use the one it came with without using the "convenient" Quickplay options......
I love it when your choices are "high" or "low" quality....what does that mean? What things are being dropped? Bitrate? Color saturations? What? Also, please don't organize my songs or pictures for me, I am a big boy, I can do it myself....rant over.
Anyway, my question is to those who have upgraded to Vista Home Premium using HP tv tuner card...
