Should it be into TV Tuner Card or directly into graphics card? HOw about the sound (red and blue cord)
I've finally got a few minutes on my grandads old PC the day before his new one arrives 
I'm not jealous that he's getting a Vista Home Premium PC with 4 GB of RAM, 200GB HD & TV card...
...Because it's a Dell!

Heya, I am getting frustrated as every time i start up vista it seemsa to reinstall my drivers, my internet wont connect because the wifi reinstalls and is now on 'wireless network 6' and most annoyingly i have to resetup my TV card (Pinnacle Hysbrid Pro Pci) in Media Centre every time i restart, which is a pain in the neck! lol, does anyone know how to resolve these issues (or if they are totally seperate and not at all what i have said)

I have mercury Tv tuner card conexant cx23880 chipset.while installing the driver it says newer file exits do u want to replace when i give replace it installs and after that windows searches for the drivers and gives an error as device unknown.
Could u please let me what are the compatoble drivers to run the TV tuner in vista ultimate.....

I have an HP laptop with MCE on it.
I hate it (MCE) with all passions possible. I even dropped the nice tv tuner card it came with and bought a new one because I couldn't find drivers/software to use the one it came with without using the "convenient" Quickplay options......
I love it when your choices are "high" or "low" quality....what does that mean? What things are being dropped? Bitrate? Color saturations? What? Also, please don't organize my songs or pictures for me, I am a big boy, I can do it myself....rant over.
Anyway, my question is to those who have upgraded to Vista Home Premium using HP tv tuner card...

I have got Vista Ultimate now, and I am now looking for a pci TV turner card for use with the Media Center which is included. Is there a list of compatible or recomended cards somewhere on Microsoft's website? Or do any of you have suggestions? Preferably, I am looking for a card that comes with a remote control, as my ATI remote wonder will not work with Vista or Media Center no matter what I try.
