Jani Myriam has founded the Transgender Resource Center to allow individuals a 'safe and anonymous environment where they can experiment with gender identity'. It appears that as SL moves into the mainstream awareness, it becomes less of a 'game' and more of a venue for people with common interests to get together and support one another.
