Notifications, like "your network security level has been changed ... because you are no longer connected to a secure network", do not fade away on my new Toshiba laptop with Win Vista.

Vista Home Premium and Zune makes an awesome combo!!

Using my fairly new Toshiba Laptop with Vista Home Premium has been an awesome experience so far. I am just loving everything about it!! Now I just got a Zune Media player and have downloaded a ton of songs for free with the trail subscription. I have to say my impressions of the Zune player.

I was a little worried as I have read so many negative reviews. Kind of like Vista. Seems people do not like change and I embrace it!! The Zune seems to have better sound quality than my 20 gig Ipod. The screen is awesome. The GUi is very nice and I like the click wheel better than the iPod. I have read some people would like it to be backwards compatible and I agree it would be nice but the Zune marketplace has a lot of music and I think there is a way to import all of the music from my iTunes since it will play AAC.

Hopefully a simple problem / answer. A lady brought her new Toshiba laptop to me to set up for her; remove the 3000 pieces of crapware, etc., then install what she want's and set security, create a profile and hopefully giver her back a nice clean...

Just want to know if it can be done before I spend huge amounts of wasted time. Thanks for any replies.

Really, really lost and confused

OK..sorry if this is in the wrong section, but i didnt know where to post. Here's my situation.

I just bought a brand new acer computer from best buy. It came pre loaded with Vista home premium. So I brought it home, plugged it in, and it automatically set it's self up. I was surprised to NOT find any discs included with the computer. The only other time I have ever purchased a puter pre built was a toshiba laptop, which came with discs that restored it to the factory default. Every other time I've had a friend build a computer for me.

So my question to all you tech gurus out there is this:
