Jack Thompson In the last 52 weeks, Take-Two's stock peaked at $27.95 a share. As of tonight, it closes out 2008 at $7.56. According to an email conversation between Game Politics and every gamer's favorite recently-disbarred lawyer, the price plummeted due to good ol' fashioned divine retribution. And, of course, Thompson's worded it in his own inimitable way:

t's not every day that an Internet prank warrants an investigation from the SEC. But that's exactly what someone got when he posted a false rumor of Steve Jobs' heart attack to iReport, CNN's experiment in citizen journalism. While the investigation hasn't officially ended yet, leaked details confirm that there wasn't any real ill will involved in the falsified report.

Mobility Radeon 9600 on Asus Notebook

The Catalyst Vista drivers do not help, 7.2 installs, but also fails to work, while 7.4 doesn't install because it doesn't find a suitable chip. The only driver that gives me ANY 3d acceleration is the Mobility Catalyst for Windows XP. Has anyone got the Radeon working on the A2D under Vista?

Issues and more issues.
