How do I get rid of these damn Gadgets!

I have a slight problem. I had a zip file with about 40 gadget install file. Instead of doing the smart thing (installing one at a time and checking them seperatly) I did the dumb thing (selected all and ran them at the same time). Now when Vista loads up with the sidebar enabled it lags like crazy.

I know I can disable it (as I currently have it) so it wont start on reboot. But I would really like to use the sidebar. I can open the task manager and set priority of the sidebar to low. This will let me use windows while the sidebar is still running, that way I can access the sidebar proporties and try to uninstall the gadgets. (One quick note, my task manager shows 2 instances of sidebar running. The first taking up about 30,000k and the second eating up a whopping 201,333k).

Angry with vista!

After upgrading my memory, buying the upgrade disk, I'm still running Windows Media Center Edition. Why? I'm running on a gig and a half of memory, I got the Vista edition most recommended for my machine, that being the Home Premium edition. I tried...

Not Sleeping

I'm having a problem with the sleep functionality. When Vista puts my machine to sleep, I don't believe it actually accomplishes actual "sleep". All of my USB devices are disabled and the display is turned off, but the fans (CPU and case) are still running and neither my power button nor my reset button have any affect on waking the machine.

The only solution I've found is to hold down the power button for ~5 secs to force a power-down. When I turn the power back on, I get a loading screen that says "Resuming Windows" (or something similar), then I get a long black screen with a few flickers and a lot of hard drive thrashing. After ~2 mins of the flickering black screen, Vista tries to put the machine back to sleep. This is about 50% successful. Half of the time the machine actually achieves sleep, my green power LED blinks, and the machine returns to normal use after I press the power button. The other half of the time, I get put back into the "almost-sleep" state and I have to force a power-down again.
