Well, we all kinda expected this, didn't we? The brand new full-length trailer for Star Trek debuted in front of Quantum of Solace this weekend, and since Paramount wanted to wait until Monday to bring it online, a whole host of folks have recorded it inside the theater and posted the trailer to YouTube. I'm sure the studio will make sure these trailers are removed from YouTube shortly, so either get your good look in now or wait until Monday, when the trailer will arrive via the film's official website.

Metaverse services firm Electric Sheep Company is bringing production company ILL Clan in-house as its machinima production arm, where it will continue the work it has done for ESC clients like CBS with a Star Trek video and an ad for “Two and a Half Men” that aired before this year’s Super Bowl.

With the airing of the pre-Superbowl machinima promotion of CBS’s TV show Two and a Half Men and the Star Trek machinima spot CBS commissioned for State of Play and CES, machinima is obviously getting attention from the “massive media”...
Reuters reports today on Virtual NBC which launches today in Second Life. It appears I wasn't too far off in my earlier post about iVillage's Girls Night Out in Second Life signalling NBC Universal's intention to explore 3D environments for...
