Cities with Stable or Increasing Home Values - javaman

close windowHousing prices have declined in many parts of the USA. House values falling is a result of the bubble breaking due to the sub prime- mortgage problems in the United States and the unreasonable increases in apparent home values over the years. There are some areas of the U.S.A. that have not been subject to much or even any decline. This is not an accident and the reasons why can be traced. For example, in Texas home values never enjoyed the unreasonable increases that many other states enjoyed. This was because until recently homes in Texas could not have 2nd mortgages.

I installed C:\Vista and D:\WinXP as a dual boot setup using two SATA drives and EasyBCD 1.52. Everything was fine and I continued to use them both until I felt everything was stable. I decided it was time to remove the training wheels (XP dual boot) using EasyBCD 1.52. I rebooted and everything was fine.
Now I wanted to format D:\. Right clicking on the drive and selected Format it would not allow me to do it. I then proceeded to delete everything on the drive. I can delete everything, but Boot and Bootmgr. It tells me that they are in use. To prove this I unplugged the D:\ drive and the system would not boot.

Hi,

as some of you may or may not know, i was saving up for a very very high end gaming pc, and was hoping to get it in about 2-3 months, however i've decided to put it on hold for now as, when i do get it it'll have a 64 bit os, and im starting to think that 64-bit needs to mature a bit, also the price was/is to high so i'll need to save up more ££, after i had brought it, i was going to then save up for a very low end laptop to, well just have the choice of laying in bed all day on the internet tongue.gif

Goodbye Vista Hello Again XP

Well I have had enough of Vista crashing, not liking lots of software which includes its own stuff and I need a steady system so I am taking it out today and putting xp back in.

I have never run XP on this machine so it will no doubt be a joy to use this pc at its full potential instead of seeing blue screens daily.

Vista will be confined to the drawer in my desk until microsoft decide to make it a system which is stable and compatible with all the software I use

Vista Windows Explorer

This is an old problem going back to XP!

Whenever I reopen Windows Explorer the window size is small. If I drag it to the size I want, then close the window it should reopen at the same size. Is there anyway to tell
Vista to remember the size of the previosly opened window?

Apart from the above, Vista is now very stable. To avoid any video driver errors (using NVIDIA driver for my GT6600), I always use HIbernate when shutting down. Starts very quick
and to date has been as stable as a rock).
