Hi,

Since last night Vista gets as far as the end of the splash screen (with the progress bar and copyright message) and then restarts. The last thing I did was to try and install some HP Printer software which wasn't compatible with Vista - although it took an age during the install before it told me this and promptly crashed so I couldn't exit - once I'd restarted, this problem happened.

Any ideas how to resolve it? I've popped the Vista DVD in and did a "Repair" but it's done no good. Last good configuration didn't work, I can't even get into Safe Mode as it restarts at exactly the same point!

Hi all..does anyone here have Adobe Premiere Pro 2 and is working Ok with Vista cause I have it installed right now on my laptop but for some reason when I try opening it I see the splash screen for a second then goes away and thats it..and Im not sure why..driver issue or compatibility issue? I'm owning a ESI Rom/IO USB Midi Device, which I frequently use to make my midi-file arrangements. The only problem is that I have problems running it under Windows Vista. The device is being recognised during the boot splash screen. When it enters the desktop, it suddenly turns off and in Device Manager i find my device with a yellow triangle behind the name. I find this very strange, because when I did the Vista Upgrade Advisor under Xp, it said that it should run fine. Could this have something to do with the new DRM or is it something else?
