My mthrbrd comes with onboard 7.1 sound. Should I use the Soundmax HD drivers or the windows HD dvce

Firstly... can anyone recommend a decent 2.1 speaker system for my pc as i've just unboxed and tried my Creative I-Trigue 3330 speakers and they are worse than my 6 year old ones (Cambridge Soundworks). Sound is of importance as i'm quite fussy when it comes to music.

Secondly... how many top of the range graphics cards (8800) is i possible to run in one pc? And what sort of benefit/difference would you get from this if any?
