Video 'bugs' in Premium Home..

Hi,

I have some problems with the graphics on my Vista Home premium. Sometimes (really depending where you place apps and windows on the screen) I get really strange graphics on my screen, flickering windows, lines and distorted screens and stuff like that. It is pretty hard to discribe but it looks really weird. If Vista creates a message in the lower right corner (over the gadget bar) it flickers and looks weird. The prioblem can also simply be created by clicking on the speaker icon in the lower right corner and open it (the volume slider), now without touching anything at all the little volume dialogue flickers and creates lines and polygons throughout the gadget screen. This effect is randomly created with opened apps and windows on the standard desktop. I hope that this describes the problem I have.

Conexant AC-Link Audio Problems

A few days ago I upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Everything seemed perfect, except I couldn't hear sound. I moused over the little speaker icon in the system tray and it said "No Audio Output Device is installed."

My sound is Conexant AC-Link Audio. I have an HP zv6233nr laptop.

I ran a Windows Update and it suggested a driver, but it failed to install for some reason. This driver still comes up every time I run Windows Update. Here's some pictures.
