I recently bought a NEW HP A1700 with Vista Home Premium OS with the purpose to transer my home videos onto DVD.

Im very happy about this. I have a Sony HDR-HC1 HDV Camcorder. I understand I can create and burn my home videos from my HD Camcorder with Vista to Create HD DVD home videos. Is this true.

After making one DVD from my HD Sony. Im NOT impressed with the quality when watching back on my HD plasma. Then again, I am watching back on my Xbox 360.

My question is. I see on Microsofts page description about their NEW Vista Softare on this page
