Software Compatibility with Vista Home Premium

My present computer has XP Home installed on it. System became unstable at one point due to spyware. My computer tech was, with great patience, able to fix system so that it works, but I'm concerned about life of it because it's almost 5 years old.

I don't normally buy computers with NEW operating systems when they first come out . . . too many bugs still to be resolved.

My question is if I HAVE to get a new computer with the Vista system, will I still be able to use my MS OFFICE SMALL BUSINESS 2000 and FrontPage 2003 with it. Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't understand that there are some of us and I don't mind giving you my age which is 60, who can't afford to continually buy new software or are content with what we've got and want to continue using it. If anyone has had any experience with at least the programs above and Vista, please let me know.
