Today, Microsoft is rolling out some of the sweeping changes to Windows Live it announced two weeks ago. Windows Live seems to be gradually replacing MSN as Microsoft’s central hub for everything you do on the Web.
The new home page shows both your email and an activity stream of what your contacts are doing across the Web.

While much has been written about the impact of President-elect Barack Obama's successful use of social networking and other Web 2.0 tools, the campaign had been mum about the future of My.BarackObama.com, the campaign's social network, immediately after last week's election.
However, on Friday, an Obama staffer announced in a blog post that it will continue to operate and allow continued collaboration among supporters.
The latest rumor in the “never going to happen” realm is that MySpace, the massive social network for tweeners and stalkers, plans to develop their very own digital music player. MySpace recently launched a digital music service creatively called “MySpace Music” that is aiming to the the best one-stop for music fans. While it is too young to determine if this service will reach its goal, or for that matter become profitable at all, being embedded in one of the most trafficked websites on the planet isn’t a bad place to start.
