It's been more than six months since marketers and advertisers started deluging Second Life, but ad agency Ogilvy is taking things a bit more literally.
Hey folks. First post here, did a search of Vista forums and this is the first I visited. Hopefully I can get all these questions answered ![]()
First, how does upgrading to 64-bit versions work? I know that the 32-bit and 64-bit versions are all on the same DVD (just like all the vista product editions are), but how does one go about it? If I purchase, say, Vista Home Premium at retail, does one choose during install which bit version to install? Also, say I install the 32-bit version (as I have read about compatibility with 64-bit being less than stellar), and six months from now I want to start using 64-bit. Are 64-bit versions more expensive, or can I just reinsert the Vista install disc and tell it to install the 64-bit when I want to move up? If someone could somehow explain this whole process more clearly to me...
