i bought a pci-ide controller card. its an ide ata 133 card. the model is ---SI0680ACL144. (SILICON IMAGE) i have a doubt.will this card work well under vista??? that is will it be identified under vista? the cd which i got with it has xp drivers.

PS - i am currently running xp, so i cant find out whether it will work or not... thanx

Hi everyone,

I've got a Silicon Image SiI 0680 ATA/133 Controller for my IDE harddisc. It has always worked fine in XP, but when I installed Vista Home Premium, it won't show anywhere...

I've downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturers website, I can also see it in the hardware list, but I can't access it in any way.

Any suggestions how to solve this problem?
