My sister and I have been asked to find and post some drawings that show what each of the letters of the alphabet look like in American Sign Language. This is not something we had ever thought about doing. We are looking all over the internet to find examples of American Sign Language and will post them on several web pages. Probably we will put a minimum of 6 letters per page.

These coloring pages of American Sign Language, which is the main method of communication for the deaf community in the United States are meant help teachers introduce ASL to their students. These coloring sheets should be helpful to people in Europe and much of the rest of the world as well due to the universal nature of American Sign Lanugage. This system of hand signals used in order to spell out words or indicate meanings of phrases has been utilized by deaf persons in Europe since the early 17th century.
