Hello, i have a Lenovo J3000 series desktop with Windows Vista Home Premium. (1GB Ram, AMD Athlon64 X2 Dual Core 3800+)I have noticed the process: SearchIndexer.exe is using 49-51% of CPU.Is this normal? My computer doesn't seem slow however so...
Recently my CPU has suddenly zoomed up from a low frequency to about ~52%. Looking at the Resource Monitor the process 'Searchindexer.exe' is responsible for about 49% of this. I've had my laptop for a couple of weeks now and it was only yesterday that the CPU started running at this rate.
My specs are:
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit
Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2GHz
2GB Ram
When I disable the process the CPU drops right down but within 10 seconds or so the process starts up again.
If anyone could give me some help I would be very thankful.
