hey everyone new to this but have this annoying problem with vistai recently installed it on a brand new sata 320gb 16mb cache seagate drive.. all was running well till i started gettin system freezes.. and i dont know why.. i thought it might be...
At first look, the Seagate 500 GB external drive seems more worth it than the 400 GB one, which is only $30 less. But the 500 GB drive does not have a firewire connection, which may be something trivial. Anybody with either of these drives recommend one over the other? Thanks...

I have a Seagate ST3320620AS 320GB Serial ATA plummed into a SATA PCI controller (ALi) when the PC Boots at post I get a notification that the Raid Card has found the drive, but in Vista the drive isn't detected any ideas ?
It could be missing a driver. Try this after you have your drive is attached, * Click your Start button on the bottom left and type in Device Manager.
