I never used to have a problem but now, if I have a screensaver activated, Vista locks up after a period of time (not sure how long), so I don't have a screensaver in use at the moment.

Any idea if I can get round this?

Hey guys...

If I play songs in WMP, my screensaver won't come up. If I'm afk, I want it to come on regardless.
How can I stop WMP from preventing the screensaver from turning on?

There in an application that lets you use a screensaver as a background. Kind of a dreamscene.
Pretty cool but no icons.

Not sure why, but my screensaver won't turn on nor will the screen go dark at all. I've tried all screensavers, changed timing, preview works fine. Installed nvidia 7600 512 card, but that should be an upgrade. Any ideas?

I did a format and clean install of Home Premium over the weekend. It went pretty smooth overall with the exception of one glitch. My system will not automatically go to the screensaver or enter any of the power saving modes. I can "preview" the screen savers and they work or I can manually enter a sleep or hibenate mode etc. The task manager shows nothing running, the CPU meter is near idle, but no power down occurs. This system/video card(GeForce 6200) worked OK in XP Pro. Suggestions.................

I got an HP AMD 4600 with 2gb ram, 512 Nvidia card, 320gb hd, Vista Home Prem. and my screensaver never comes on. Why?
