Has anybody come across Vista losing time. Dell have replaced the motherboard (Dell Inspiron 1501) but too no avail, updated bios to the lastest.Just with Vista Home Premium loaded and going into screen saver it can lose 5 to 7 seconds an hour....
I would normally never use a screen saver. but the aquarium one here is pretty simplistic; not to mention it looks great without looking really cheezy like screensavers do IMO.
other ones are available also.

has anyone seen vista do this i`ve posted pics below...they where taken on my laptop but its fixed now its my desktop....
i have call MS and they couldn`t figure it out eather...all i did on my laptop was flash the bios...it did this after coming off of screen saver...and after that when i pull the plug on it and reboot it takes forever to load windows...it sits at the boot screen for over 2 min...
I set it up just as usual for many years and it never comes on???
