Hi all,I've just bought a Samsung 250GB SATA2 SP2504C hard drive with the intention of installing Vista on it. Problem is its not listed as one of the available drives during installation- just the other two, one of which is IDE and one is SATA....
hey guys had nasty crash on xp pro system with 1.4 terabytes of hard drive so bought new drive and put vista on it so could recover and use old drives--they post in bios and disc management sees them as a dynamic drive but vista cant access...
Hey guys im new to this forum as u can see 
I wanted to ask for some help before i got out and buy a new configuration...
Im stuck on a couple of things...
First i need to decide on a processor - AMD or Intel ???
Then i have to choose a motherboard and graphics card...
I want my motheroard to have [ DDR2, SATA2, PCI-express, 6 or more channel audio ] and preferably to be ASUS or Gigabyte.
So can any one tell me whether to go for AMD Athlon or Intel Pentium ?
