I use Gmail as my default E-mail program, so I wanted easy access on the desktop. So I dragged the little picture from the Url bar onto my desktop. When I double clicked it Firefox opened a new tab and gave me a blank page with this in the Url bar. file:///C:/Users/Tadd/Desktop/Gmail.url (My name is Tadd). It also said done in the bottom left hand corner. So I tried making a internet shortcut by right clicking, I got the same result. So for the hell of it I tried it in the quick launch bar. would like to get to the area where the shortcut in the quick launch bar takes me. the switch between windows view

on the touchpad of my laptop, between the left and right buttons, there is a four way toggle. using my synaptics touchpad driver i can set the directions to do whatever i want. (i currently have up as play/pause, left as previous track, and right as next track) I want to be able to have the down key to bring up flip 3d, the same way as clicking switch between windows in the quick launch bar. using my touchpad driver, i can have it either preform a series of keystrokes, or tell it a program to launch. unfortunatly, it will not allow me to use the window flag key, so i cannot just tell it to do control+window key+tab.
