2 Monitors Sharing Same Display

Sun, 2007-03-18 18:02 - Topics:

Is it possible to have 2 monitors share the same display? I have a nvidia 7900 GS with 2 DVI ports. When I connect the second monitor, the only option I see is to extend the main display to the second monitor. I would like to have both monitors set as main display because they are located in adjacent rooms. I also need to use both DVI ports as the display settings on each monitor is different (one LCD and the other DLP).

A clean install of Home Premium and everythings working fine so far except... Compact flash cards plugged into different ports (not hubs) give a message saying USB device not recognized and that it is malfunctioning. But thumb drives work just fine. What gives?
