Flash FXP

I've had problems using Flash FXP to access my websites with Vista. The main one I'm not figuring out real well is that I cannot view any of the folders on my computer whatsoever now. I can view what is stored and uploaded to the webspaces but I can't upload anything new from this computer now. That makes my designing business a bit difficult if I cannot access files on my own computer I'm working from.

Anyone else have any problems with this? If so how did you deal with it? Alternative suggestions?
Also if someone has already posted on this particular software please point me in the right direction to said thread.

secondly i'm giving my current computer to my parents in a few months, with the oem version of xp. i'll then be making my own computer. the computer my parents have at the moment did come with a oem version of windows but we lost the disc so we got a mates disk which microsoft didn't like so we had to pay for a genuine version which they sent to us.
how do i kno if thats a full version of xp and can i use it on a 'virgin machine'? crucically it has its own cd key... does that mean just so long as i unistall it from the current machine i can use it on any other computer?
