Vista does not remember folder views. It has a mind of its own!
Can anyone write a script or do something that would prevent vista from messing everything up?
I'll organize certain folders by View -> Large Icons. And out of nowhere, it will change it to Details view.
It even applies Grouping to folders which I never specified that for.!!!!!

Don't hold your breath. There's not been much advancement in Win XP Pro X64 either. Software companies are more concerned with the huge numbers of computers running 32 bit.

Any idea whats up? Nothing works.. they play fine in WMP but won't display with dreamscene. .wmv and .mpg. (including the one that comes with the preview)
do you think ill be able to sell or exchange vista 64 bit for 32 bit? because nothing works on it, and i carnt get on to internet with it.i havnt registered it yet so the product key is valid. or would i have to but it again?
