Since installing vista, when trying to purchase items from the HMV website - i can`t !!

The actual site displays ok until i go to the checkout and log in. The page comes up with no graphics, pics etc and some of the buttons you click on dont work. Bottom left corner it says `done with errors on page`.

I put items in my basket, but when clicking on `submit` , it doesn`t .

This has only happened since i installed vista. The only other thing it could be is the Norton internet security 2007 installed.

Any ideas, please help.

Norton Internet Security 2007 problem! HELP!!!!!

Help please!

Whenever I run a system scan, it works for the most part. But then, when I'm just about done, it stops scanning. It shows up on the screen as if it's still working, but the number of scanned files just stops growing. I've come back to it numerous times to find that it is still on the same number. So, whenever I stop the scan, a message comes up asking me if I want to do this. I say yes, and it keeps scanning! I try closing the window, same thing happens. Eventually, I end up having to end the process.

Now, this morning, the status changed. It said that some things "need attention." I click on "fix now," and it begins trying to install updates. This is where I'm really stuck: every time I try to do this, it successfully downloads the updates, but fails to install them.

Okay, this will be a long one, but I'll try to cover all the info.

First, the PC info:

HP Pavillion M7650n with TV tuner

Processor: Intel Viiv Core2 Duo E6300 @ 1.86GHz
Ram: 2GB

Purchased December 2006 with Windows XP (free HP Express upgrade to Vista Home Premium (32bit) when available)

I think that covers the particulars on the PC. I received my upgrade discs, both the HP Upgrade Assistant, and the Vista Premium disc, in early March, but just upgraded last weekend.

Downloaded and ran the Microsoft upgrade advisor beforehand. The only task listed was to uninstall Norton Internet Security - Done.

Connecting Home Premium to a Win 2000 Server share

Thu, 2007-02-08 17:54 - Topics:

I'm having a problem connecting to a windows 2000 server share with Vista Home Premium. When I type \\servername into the address bar, I get the usual prompt for a user name and password. I have tried entering the info for several accounts that I know to exist on the server, as well as a new account that I created for testing. I get an error saying that i have an incorrect logon. I have disabled firewalls, as well as remove the trial version of norton internet security. Any ideas?
