HI just joined to would like to say hello 1st of all 
since I got my new laptop with Vista Home Premium I have been using the 3 free months subscription with Norton's. but that is soon to run out and I don't really want to subscribe to a year with them. I used to use zone alarm on my xp but I have looked at there site and they don't seem to have a vista version at the minute so I want to hold out until that is available
just wondering what kind of security other vista users were using
I have another problem with vista i need help with i cannot connect to the internet now. I uninstalled all the stuff it came with like norton and acer software. The local area connection is connected but it's not getting me online for some reason....
How can I permit certain sites to download in Vista?I have information on disabling individual sites under "click access control" but that button is not there. (Norton)Thanks

The laptop is installed with windows vista, there is a soft ware called (LG intallegent update) when ever I try to start it, the window give me a msg that the programe will be automatically shut & I can not run the programe.
The second problem is I cann't install NORTON 2007, every time I try the installation, a msg pop and ask me to download a soft ware from the internet, the software is not avialable on line.
