Can not connect to wireless...

At home I can connect no problem. At wifi hotspots also no problem. Any friends homes no problem. At my gramma's house the modem/router (one unit) has always worked but today it did not connect and asked for this... see below.

Now please keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the WAP key. The router/modem logs into the ISP automatically so once the WAP key is entered that should be all there is to it. I don't even get asked for the key, just what you see above. Has anyone else ever encountered this strange event? Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem and or solution is?

Hi, heres the story,

I bought a new PC from PC world with Windows Vista Home Premium, great stuff i thought.
I then plugged it all in and walla it works... no it doesnt it crashes. OK so system restore..
Working ok now... i think.

Anyhow when trying to connect to the internet with Tiscali Broadband i run into the issue that not many ISP's have got drivers out yet for Windows Vista.... irratating.

So ive phoned their costly and fruitless "help desks" based in i dont even know where but certainly no where in britian.

Tiscali say that cant do vista for while. Month maybe two but to be honest i dont think they even know a thing.

Wireless connection problem - drop outs & poor signal

Hi guys I recently purchased a new HP Pavilion laptop which came with Vista Home Premium and I have been having constant drop outs and connection problems with my laptop and wireless billion modem/router (BIPAC-743GE). My connection strength is never above 60% - Always on Good connection, never goes up to Very Good or Excellent - my old Laptop which had Windows XP always had Very Good and Excellent connections. It also never had drop outs.

What I mean by 'drop outs', is that after a period of time being connected to the modem/router, my laptop will disconnect (not entirely) from the modem/router and I end up with a Limited Connection (Local Only). This happens after being connected for only 2 hours or so *the time varies every now and then* When I try to disconnect from the modem/router and try to reconnect, my laptop cannot find any wireless connections until I actually restart the laptop. Also, I am using the HP Wireless Assistant which came preinstalled.

I have 3 machines on my LAN and I have a PPPoA broadband connection using a Netgear DG814 ethernet modem/router. I use DHCP to set the public (static) ip and private ip (192.168.0.2) on my main machine and fix the others at 0.3 and 0.4 - previously...
