Vista does not remember folder views. It has a mind of its own!
Can anyone write a script or do something that would prevent vista from messing everything up?
I'll organize certain folders by View -> Large Icons. And out of nowhere, it will change it to Details view.
It even applies Grouping to folders which I never specified that for.!!!!!

Okay I had a brand new computer built for my office and we decided to run Vista on it. I had XP put on it then we ran the Vista Ultimate upgrade version. Which we have working, I believe, some times it wants to shut it self off when I would like to keep using the computer but it has a mind of its own.....
Anyways, I can not get it to connect to the internet, my laptop finds the internet no problem, plug in the cord and away I go. But if I plug the internet into my tower with Vista it says its a local connection giving me NO access to the internet. It's running thru a Linksys router, model # BEFSR11 Version 2 with an Linksys Switch box Model #EF4124.
