i have a perfectly working microphone i tried it on XP (i have dual-boot vista + XP) and it works, it just doesn't work in vista...all my drivers are working perfectly, and it used to work, but after i reinstalled vista, it stopped working thanx
Hey I'm using vista home premium 32bit and I have a strange bug happening to me. I use plantronics dsp 500 usb headset and for some reason it will mute the microphone by itself. It seems to happen when I open counter-strike. Is anyone having a problem where vista randomly mutes your mic? It's troublesome to me because I often use Ventrilo to chat and it's annoying when it gets muted and I don't realize it.
when i open up the task bars audio options i put on the 20 db mic gain and i turn off my mic to be heard in my headphones. everytime i restart my comp i have to re do it and it gets annoying. it used to work fine but since i reinstalled vista it wont do it now. wtf?
