Most businesses make the crucial error of hurriedly launching a poorly constructed site for the sake of having something online. It’s only after the site starts performing poorly that they begin to realize something needs to be changed. This is usually when they start searching the internet for solutions, and they learn about SEO.

Today, I will be helping to moderate Beet.TV’s Online Video Summit from the NBC Studios in New York City’s Rockefeller Center. We’ll be streaming the event here live, all three hours of it. It starts at 9 AM ET. It will be broken into three parts. Here is the schedule:
Qik, a startup that allows you to stream live video to the web directly from your phone, has launched support for RIM’s incredibly popular Blackberry platform. The software is currently available in an alpha state (so don’t be surprised if you encounter bugs), and includes support for the Blackberry Bold and Pearl (other phones, like the Flip and Curve, will be available in a later release that the company expects soon).

You can use a webcam to sneak peeks at birds’ nests, active volcanoes, watch the Shuttle launch, and even to check traffic. But that’s just local stuff. What if you want more of a far look?

The Jonas Brothers are on fire lately. They way they are going, Justin Timberlake better watch out. Anyway, they are in New York now for Three concerts at Madison Square Garden and MTV has decided to get involved. Starting at 4pm EST Friday August 8th, MTV will be following The Jonas Brothers everywhere and filming everything. MTV will also be live blogging everything that happens the entire time.

I have met many healthy but very old people. I have taken notes and have asked as many of them as I could, "How have you lived so long."
