I just received my copy of vista ultimate 64 bit, installed the nforce 680I vista driver along the 8800 vista driver, configured ISP and made most of the available windows updates, that's just about what I have done with it so far.
Now the problem is that IE7 seems to be blocking me from a lot of websites: let's say I google something, and click on a result, the page won't load and the status bar display "waiting for www.thevistaforums.com".
By the way I'm writing this post on windows xp since I can't even enter this website on vista, very strange. Downloads also seems to be blocked, I was able to go on nvidia's website but when I click to download a driver, absolutely nothing occured so I had to download all the stuff I need in XP.

I bought a new PC from PC world with Windows Vista Home Premium, great stuff i thought.
I then plugged it all in and walla it works... no it doesnt it crashes. OK so system restore..
Working ok now... i think.
Anyhow when trying to connect to the internet with Tiscali Broadband i run into the issue that not many ISP's have got drivers out yet for Windows Vista.... irratating.
So ive phoned their costly and fruitless "help desks" based in i dont even know where but certainly no where in britian.
Tiscali say that cant do vista for while. Month maybe two but to be honest i dont think they even know a thing.

ok, im playing this game called World of Warcraft. I have Windows Vista Home Premium.
What basically vista is doing is killing my internet connection. My ADSL will die and then reconnect, its so fast u wont even notice on the computer, unless ur surfing the web or playing a game.
when i play World of warcraft i always get disconnected from the server. ill get kicked of MSN and reconnected, and so on and so on.
ive called Blizzard who made WoW and said its nothing on their end. i called Telus my isp (for high Speed ADSL), said on their logs it never show'd me getting disconnected.

I've got problem that my modem is not working good with Vista.
I have no problem using it with XP (dual-boot) , but when i connect to my ISP through Vista, it connects fine, but few moments later it stops reading website or downloading, and then suddenly works, and again stops. Sometimes it even drops and hang out. What do you think is there problem?
