The updated Google mobile app supposed to appear last Friday pending approval by Apple. But so far the app has not appeared on iTunes Store yet. So what happened?

Google is going to release it for the iPhone before their own Android phone. Why would Apple delay the application? It make no sense at all. This is one cool app that would sell more iPhone.
