I Installed vista on to my computer not to long ago, which is on a 80gig Hd.
I Recently just bought a 300 gig hardrive that i am using as a backup drive. I have have backed up some work on (60 gig).
Is it possible to transfer windows and make the 300gig my main drive that windows can run on without having to re-install windows on it..?

HI i have a Vista running on my laptop, my friend put it on, but i don't want it on here and want to go back to XP, he done a fresh install when he put it on. Supposedly my laptop can reformat from the hardrive (so therefore it never came with an XP disc!!!), but i think vista got rid of that and now im stuck with an operating system i dont want!!!
can anyone help? it would be MUCH appreciated!!
