I'm looking for £40 each + postage, and for those who aint good at maths thats £80 for two

Right now, I have a pretty good system, but as is the usual story, I want more out of it.

I've been looking at switching to ATI's Crossfire. I know they make Crossfire mobo's with socket 939 (which is what I currently have). Right now, I'm running a Radeon X1050, Athlon 64 3700+, and 1 gig of DDR PC3200 RAM.

Not having a lot of money, I want to upgrade a little at a time. Is it going to be possible to buy a Crossfire 939 mobo, and have it be compatible with everything I have right now, and then later down the line, buy a couple of Crossfire graphics cards, and then after that, upgrade to more memory?

Firstly... can anyone recommend a decent 2.1 speaker system for my pc as i've just unboxed and tried my Creative I-Trigue 3330 speakers and they are worse than my 6 year old ones (Cambridge Soundworks). Sound is of importance as i'm quite fussy when it comes to music.

Secondly... how many top of the range graphics cards (8800) is i possible to run in one pc? And what sort of benefit/difference would you get from this if any?

Good day to you all.

So I am having a problem with a dual monitor system. When ever I exit out of screen saver mode one of the monitors just starts to flicker every time there is an on screen event (such as the mouse moving). I have to change the screen refresh rate to fix the problem, and I have had this problem with all supported screen refresh rates (60Mhz to 75Mhz) I have the latest drivers for my graphics cards.

System specs as follows.

Dual Core AMD 4800 x64 processor
x2 Nvidia 6800GT graphics cards (SLI Enabled)
2gb ddr 2 ram
x1 Generic TFT 17" Monitor (It is this monitor that has the problems)

i have vista ultimate on my pc, but i'm only running a ATi radeon express 200 onboard graphics/chipset

but when it comes to graphics cards i'm completly confused!

super duppa fx 9,000,000,000 with super shader v32.1

its all numbers and letters to me.

so at the minute my system rating gets a 2.0 because of my graphics..
