On a clear day, you can see for miles and miles and miles.The old saying turns out to be just about true. For a six-foot tall person, the horizon is a little more than 3 miles (5 km) away.
When playing a video in VLC (Direct X output), the screen blinks for a second and I get this strange error in the form of a balloon in the lower right hand corner. It's happened also while trying to play geometry wars. Could it be because of my dreamscape background? Any other suggestions? (I can't go back to a still image background, not now that I've tasted the glory)
