Is there a version of netscape that works with the Vista Home Premium OS. I am using a Gateway Laptop. :)

Hey, just got a new gateway laptop, and of course comes with vista home premo. I would love to give it the boot and get back to good old XP. Do I just put in my xp cd and follow directions?

Well I'm installing Vista Ultimate on my Gateway laptop, and while installing after what seemed to be more than halfway, it said it had to restart which is fine, but upon restart I get the BSOD and it says something to the effect that "Bios is not fully atapi(not exact spelling) compliant."

I'm really not sure what the deal with that is, I ran the compatibility test prior and besides only having 512mb of ram I had no other issue. Any Ideas?

I have a MX6433 gateway laptop, and need to buy RAM to upgrade to vista. I have 512MB DDR pc-2700 200pin ram and i need to know if upgrading 1 more GB is my best bet for the best experience performance wise. Should i get buy 1GB or 512MB. I also have 128MB of shared memory. What's the best option?

I did clean install of Vista Ultimate on a partition ( dual booting with XP). I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the audio drivers to work. These are common drivers and I can't belive none of the companys who develope drivers had the forsight to get this ready..

ok i have a Gateway MX6425 laptop with a conexant systems AC97 Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP i believe for my sound card, not 100% sure though, if all it is a modem then screw it dont need it I use dsl, but i need sound badly my laptop is mostly used for buisness and travel... i need vista 32 bit drivers for the final released version...

I bought my Gateway laptop in March 2006 and it's Windows Vista Capable. I seem to recall reading an article in a publication a few months ago indicating that I am limited in terms of upgrading to Vista. I understand there is a Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium, and a Vista Ultimate.

If this article that I read was correct, does anyone know which Vista product I can purchase? Thanks for any help on this topic that can be offered.
