After a blogger launched "First Life," a satirical web site about the PC game "Second Life," it didn't take game developer Linden Labs very long to respond. As the blogger writes, "to their enormous credit, they sent me what I can only describe as a ‘proceed and permitted’ (instead of ‘cease and desist’) letter."
