I believe that it's due to a low refresh rate on my LCD, only problem is that Vista recognizes it only and a Generic PnP monitor.

As I'd previously posted on here i had a problem with my Dell XPS M1210, when unlocking the screen would flicker and the notebook would lock up for a few seconds.
I've resolved this by downloading the latest nvidia drivers from the dell website.
it may all be in my head but the general explorer problems that i was also seeing seemed to have improved somewhat.

Hey, I am playing The Sims 2 on Vista and the monitor will flicker occasionally and every 5-10 minutes the game will minimize itself automatically? Please help, thanks.
