I always thought that Windows just fixes the problem than continues. I ask this because I brought my computer out of sleep and because I don't have the perfect computer for speed, I didn't wait for it to finish booting up and I tried to shut down, it hung for a few minutes and then a message pops up and says something about the user account not logging off or something, I don't remember.

When I set the computer to hibernate, it hibernates ok, the problem is it wakes up on its own, sometimes in a few seconds, sometimes a few minutes.
Anyone out there have a remedy for this?

I've finally got a few minutes on my grandads old PC the day before his new one arrives I'm not jealous that he's getting a Vista Home Premium PC with 4 GB of RAM, 200GB HD & TV card...

The shortcut Ctrl + Alt + Arrow key shortcut rotates the display in 90 degree increments. I found this by mistake. After a few minutes of figuring out how I ended up with my 2nd monitor (extended desktop) flipped 180 degrees. The display was upside down! I fooled around with different combinations: Ctrl + Alt +Arrow (up), Ctrl + Alt + Arrow (down), Ctrl + Alt + Arrow (left), and also Ctrl + Alt + Arrow (right) until I was able to orient the display normally again. Yeah!

The issue is when I reboot. The display on the 1st monitor reverts to a rotation of 90 degrees clockwise.

Is anyone familiar with this shortcut? If so, how do I correct or undo it. I am trying to avoid the need to correct this every time I boot!

I have Vista Home Premium. I can't print anything or do any thing with out getting this error every time.

"Spooler Subsystem App Stopped working and was closed."

I have to go and restart the spooler ever few minutes.

Please help with some ideas. I'm dieing here. I've considered deleting my printers and reinstalling them, but when I try to delete it pops the Spool again and I have to reset.

Any ideas?

I have a 9800 pro and a 9550. The 9550 works great with Vista. Anyone know if the 9800 would work better?

In XP the 9800 would not play games right and I couldn't get the settings right. After a few minutes it would create triangles of color all over the screen.

Hope Im in the right area.

I have recently purchased a new laptop and BT home hub and I am experiencing problems with the wireless connection.

The issue is that I get a connection for a few minutes which allows me to browse a few web pages but then the connection is described as poor and then I cannot connect to any web pages at all.

The support team at BT have both verbally and remotely tried to fix the problem but they have said that it is something to do with the Vista (Home Basic Addition)..

Does anyone have any idea what this may be?

Hi , i have a laptop, and the Logitech Acer Orbicam is installed at the top of the screen, and from about 3 hours ago, it goes on every few miutes, i can tell as there is a small LED which goes on when the camera is on , and as i previously said, it goes on every few minutes, how can i fix this???

as i am getting quite frigtened incase theres some kind of pervert on the other side looking at me, obviously iv covered it now, but still does anyone know what to do??
