I have a Sony VAIO laptop (VGN-C190P) and received the express upgrade kit for Windows Vista Business. I inserted the CD, followed the instructions and proceeded to install. After the BIOS was updated it took me to a screen where it said installation files were being copied; it was not actually installing Vista yet. Every time, at the exact same place, I received an error message that read "an unknown error has occured while searching for an unnamed file." The title bar read, "irsetup." I reset the BIOS to factory defaults and tried again but nothing changed. Every time I try, I get the same error message at the exact same place and the process does not go any farther.
Hi Friends, I am New in here.
Anyways I Installed Vista Ultimate And I am getting some Problems.
Whenever I use any Software or Anything to Browse File Like for Example when to save a File from broser we Click Save target As.
When I do So I get an Error message and the Application Shuts Down. Same is with the Other Applications. What I can't do is to Browse the Files so as to Where to Save or from where to Open.
Can Anyone help???

I have vista installed on my C drive and I am trying to install XP on either a different partition or drive. I read the previous links on your forum but I can't get to first base. This is my second attempt at Vista, first one was when it just came out, I installed it, after a week of dissapointments I went back to XP, now a week ago got a clean install, worked fine for about 1 day, then programs stopped working, like office, when tried to do a fix through the cd, the installer encouraged a problem error message appeared, nothing cant be done, 3 programs cannot be uninstalled, alweys get wierd errors, in other words, VISTA SUX!!! Im going back to XP, just dont have time yet, pissed off that have to transfer everything back again...

my acer orbi cam is giving me an error message saying the orbicam application has stopped working pls i need help i have tried re installing it but dat doesnt seem to work, it works for sometime then its stops working again . can any one help me ?
